Welcome to the new website of the Pleasant
Valley Historical Society (PVHS) Museum
and Botanical Garden. Our society is dedicated to preserving
the long and varied history of the Pleasant
Valley, so named when pioneers first saw
it from the top of what today is popularly
referred to as the "Conejo Grade."
The Pleasant Valley area in Southern California
incorporates the Cities of Camarillo and Somis, parts of the Oxnard plain, the Santa
Rosa Valley and surrounding areas.
Explore
the links above for information on our
museum and garden and have a look into PVHS's past,
present, and future.
We are located at 720 Las Posas Road in
Camarillo. Museum open Saturday and
Sunday from 12 PM - 4 PM.
